2025 Priority Drawing
Every October, the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) holds the Annual Priority Drawing—the one time each year new General liquor licenses are issued.
🍸 General licenses cover:
Type 47 (On-Sale General – Eating Place)
Type 48 (On-Sale General – Public Premises, like bars/nightclubs)
Type 21 (Off-Sale General – Liquor Store)
These licenses are only issued new through this drawing. Otherwise, they must be purchased on the secondary market.
Applications will be accepted Sept. 8- Sept. 19th, 2025. link
